Yes. Independence in scheduling is not the same as freedom from broker supervision. New York requires ongoing guidance and oversight of a salesperson's licensed work. Ask your brokerage who reviews questions, advertising and transactions, and how to reach that person. A name on the license is not the whole relationship.
