Why is changing the closing date treated differently from accepting an offer?
Staff Q&A from the 63Hours team.
Changing a material term proposes a different deal rather than accepting the offer exactly as made. In the course's standard counteroffer examples, the person proposing the change becomes the new offeror. Track which terms are currently being offered and who must accept them. A request for information is not automatically the same thing as a counteroffer.
