FLORIDA REAL ESTATE SALES ASSOCIATE COURSE
Brokerage Offices and Branch Requirements
Section 5 of 31
If you miss the 14-day deadline: The brokerage registration is automatically cancelled. What happens to you (the Sales Associate)? Since your license is tied to the brokerage, if the brokerage dies, your license status automatically becomes Involuntary Inactive. You are effectively unemployed and cannot practice real estate until you move your license to a new firm. The 60-Day Hard Stop - If you opted for a Temporary Broker, the clock is ticking. By the end of those 60 days, you must have a Permanent Broker fully installed and registered with the Department of State. If not, the company closes down.
