A Post-Licensure Requirement is a one-time requirement due before the first renewal of the license.Sales Associates: Must complete a 45-hour post-license course.Brokers: Must complete a 60-hour post-license course.Failure to complete this results in the license becoming Null and Void. The person must re-apply and retake the state exam from scratch.Hardship Cases - The Commission may allow an additional 6-month extension for completing post-license education, but only for cases of individual physical hardship that prevented the licensee from attending the course. Economic hardship is not a valid reason.Continuing Education (CE) - After the first renewal period, all licensees must complete 14 hours of CE every 2 years. This includes 3 hours of Core Law and 3 hours of Ethics.
