If someone breaches a contract (e.g., they didn't pay you), you can't wait 50 years to sue them. The law sets a deadline.Written Contracts: You have 5 Years to sue.Oral (Parol) Contracts: You have 4 Years to sue.Just remember: A written contract is "stronger," so it lasts longer (5 years). An oral contract is "weaker," so it dies sooner (4 years).
