Section 21 of 45

An offer may be terminated in any of the following ways:Counteroffer: A counteroffer shows willingness to contract, but on different terms. It is not an acceptance and permanently terminates the original offer. Only the most recent offer may be accepted.Acceptance: When an offer is accepted and that acceptance is communicated, a contract is created. The acceptance must exactly match the terms of the offer. Acceptance may be communicated in writing or electronically.Rejection: An offer ends when the offeree clearly communicates rejection to the offeror.Withdrawal by the offeror: The offeror may revoke an offer at any time before acceptance, as long as the withdrawal is communicated to the offeree before acceptance occurs.
