Hedge Against Inflation

FLORIDA REAL ESTATE SALES ASSOCIATE COURSE

Real Estate Investments And Business Opportunity Brokerage

Section 13 of 22

Real estate is traditionally viewed as an excellent hedge against inflation. When the cost of living rises (inflation), the value of real assets like land and buildings typically rises with it. Furthermore, because rental rates usually increase during inflationary periods, the investor’s income stream keeps pace with the eroding power of the dollar. This protects the investor's purchasing power in a way that fixed-rate bonds or savings accounts cannot.
