Section 12 of 17

Broker Price Opinion (BPO) is similar to CMA. It is your opinion IN WRITING of the current value of the property. Florida real estate licensees are allowed to prepare and charge for BPOs, provided the BPO is not called an appraisal. Same like with CMAs, the USPAP standards of practice do not apply to brokers, broker associates, and sales associates who prepare BPOs. One thing to remember, is that you can never get paid directly from your client as a sales associate. You can get paid only by your employing broker.
